Can you see the lights during the day?

Barely. The channel is a slim aluminum extrusion — three profiles are available — color-matched to your soffit, fascia or trim and cut on site to follow the roofline. All wiring runs concealed inside it, so from the street it reads as trim detail, not a light fixture.

How long does installation take?

A professional installation typically takes 8–10 hours, so most single-family homes are completed in one day. Larger estates or complex rooflines occasionally run into a second day, which we tell you before you sign anything.

Will this damage my roof, fascia or soffit?

Accepted Answer

No. We use commercial-grade fasteners rated for exterior use and never staple through fascia or use adhesive that pulls paint. Penetrations are sealed, and the system is fully removable if you ever want it gone.

What does it cost to run?

Very little. Each light draws 0.96W at 72 lumens, so a typical 250-light home uses about as much power as five ordinary light bulbs. LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours — roughly 25–30 years at five hours a night.

Is the white light actually white?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every light has 3 LEDs with 4 diodes each — red, green, blue and a dedicated white — so warm white comes from a real white diode instead of an approximation blended from color. That's the single biggest reason our installs look architectural instead of novelty.

What happens if a section stops working?

Parts are covered for five years and our installation workmanship for one. Individual modules are replaceable, so a repair is a short service visit rather than a re-install.

Can I control it when I'm not home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free Bosso app works from anywhere with no subscription. You can schedule in advance, tie lighting to sunrise and sunset, use geofencing so the lights react when you arrive or leave, and trigger scenes through Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri or Control4.

Do you need my Wi-Fi password?

We connect the 12V controller — usually mounted in the garage, or wherever WiFi is strongest — during handoff. You can enter the credentials yourself if you'd prefer we never see them, and the system runs on a schedule even if the network drops.

How accurate is the online design?

Accepted Answer

The renderings show a realistic representation of scene color and roofline placement on your actual photo. Final layout is confirmed during field verification, where we measure real linear footage.

Question 10

What if I move?

Accepted Answer

Permanent lighting is a fixture that typically stays with the home and is a genuine selling feature. If you want it removed, we can do that and repair the mounting points.
