The Technology

Premium hardware is why it doesn't look like Christmas lights.

We install the Bosso ARGBW permanent roofline system. The difference between architectural lighting and a novelty product is almost entirely in the components — and in who installs them.

A dedicated white diode

Each light carries 3 LEDs with 4 diodes apiece — red, green, blue and a dedicated white. That true warm white is what makes everyday lighting look architectural instead of a pink-tinted white faked by blending colors.

8-inch spacing, 72 lumens

Lights are installed every 8 inches so the roofline reads as one smooth, even line rather than a row of dots. Each point puts out 72 lumens — bright enough to shape the architecture, never harsh.

Three color-matched track profiles

Low-profile aluminum channel in three profiles, custom color-matched to your soffit, fascia or trim and cut on site to follow the roofline exactly. Every wire is concealed inside the track, so it nearly disappears during the day.

0.96W per light, 50,000-hour LEDs

A typical 250-light home draws about as much as five ordinary light bulbs, so running it nightly costs very little. LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours — roughly 25–30 years at five hours a night.

UL-rated controller, 8 zones

A waterproof, UL-rated 12V smart controller — typically mounted in the garage, wherever WiFi is strongest — runs up to 8 independent zones, with up to 4 controllers on one account. Works with Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri and Control4.
